The Swedish Armed Forces defend Sweden, our freedom, and the right to live as we choose. We are now seeking a Logistics Officer to join FMTIS Örebro! Main Responsibilities
As a Logistics Officer, you will work broadly within planning, evaluation, and enabling activities for the unit's logistics components as a member of the staff. Your duties include leading logistics preparations and participating in the staff's joint work. A major focus will be on developing the unit's logistics to support the growth of the unit and the Swedish Armed Forces, which involves ensuring flows, processes, and material management.
You will serve as a natural support to the unit's commanders on logistics-related matters.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education with a relevant focus or equivalent knowledge deemed equivalent by the employer
- Current and relevant experience in logistics and administration
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Class B driver's license
Merits
- Previous experience of similar tasks within the Swedish Armed Forces
- Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' material management
- Previous experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' support systems Prio/Lift regarding material flows
Personal Attributes
We are looking for someone who is administratively persistent and meticulous. You have the ability to understand and analyze the organization's flows and processes from a helicopter perspective to ensure quality in the chain and suggest improvements. You have good collaboration skills and are a team player who safeguards the organization's interests and relationships with colleagues while also being a strong advocate for requirements. You can clearly articulate needs for development and improvements. You possess high security awareness, a strong sense of responsibility, and drive your processes independently.
Application
This is a permanent full-time civilian position with immediate start or as agreed. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a 6-month probationary period for those who have not previously been employed by the Armed Forces. The location is Örebro. Travel and work at inconvenient hours may occur.
